Who Am I?

Hello there,
I am a new city girl, moved to London a couple of years ago to study and work part time. I love going out to new places, theaters, museums, movies, galleries, concerts, drinks and all sorts of things. I also love love love to date. This blog is kind of like a dating archive, you'll see all of my dating adventures and a lot of dating failures. Some of them good, some of them bad and some of them very bad. Sometimes it's funny, light, but sometimes it gets a bit more serious.

After a bunch of dating failures I thought to myself "I can't be the only one going through all these!", so I decided to start a blog to share my experiences and see if anyone else has similar ones. Also, after many dating failures I learnt a few good things that I thought other people might find useful. Of course every one knows we have to make our own mistakes to learn from them, but anyhow if I can even help one of you it is more than worth it!

Hope you all enjoy this blog and find something useful or entertaining! Please comment and tell me what you think, the more feedback you leave the better I can make my posts and more stories.

Also, you can contact me and I can make posts out of your adventures as well. You can email me at datingcitygirl@gmail.com

Thank you everyone for reading this! :)

  4. Thank you for the insight. Recently I was accused of being emotionally unavailable. That crushed me. But,I got to thinking....I've been shut down for so long, I don't know how to open up anymore. Beyond numb is normal for me. The last two guys I dated left me completely heart broken. I'm trying to make myself believe that it's them with the problem . ..not me. And if that's the case, why can't I let it go? I just feel like o can't trust anyone anymore. Pass the bottle of wine please....

    1. Hello,

thank you for your comment. I think we've all been there. Broken-hearted to the extend of complete shut-down. It's normal and it happens, especially after having been through a lot. I think I'm very much at the same stage at the moment, but I realised that the best way to deal with it is to stop dating for a while and just be with yourself and try to stand on your feet again.
